His Highness Prince Khalid bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, Minister of the National Guard, patronized the graduation ceremony of the 15th batch of students of King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences with the presence of His Highness Sheikh Shakhbut bin Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Ambassador of United Arab Emirates. The ceremony was held on Wednesday 18 April 2018 at the conference center in Riyadh campus. On His Highness arrival at the university, there were on the Red carpet reception, Deputy Minister of National Guard Abdulmohsen bin Abdulaziz Al-Tuwaijri, the Executive Director of Health Affairs at the Ministry of National Guard, the President of King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences Dr. Bandar bin Abdulmohsen Al Knawy, H.E Dr. Saad Al Mohrej, Director General of the Department of Medical Affairs in the Ministry of National Guard Affairs, the Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Yousef Al-Essa, and the Vices and deans of the colleges. After that, National Anthem has been played. His Highness Prince Khaled delivered a speech on the occasion in which he said: "It is one of the great days of our country, and we are proud of all the students of this great edifice who have striven to ensure that they receive the highest levels of education." H.H also congratulated to their parents. Also, H.H stated that all the students accomplishments that were done by them deserves praise, honor and pride. His Highness extended his congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz of the graduation of the batch 15 of students of the University. Pointing out that they are the future leaders of the health sector. Moreover, H.H addressed to the guests that our country was facilitated the ways of education, science, and encouraged the students by supporting them until they received the highest degrees of honor and scientific achievement. On the other hand, the Executive Director of Health Affairs at the Ministry of National Guard, the President of the University Dr. Bandar bin Abdulmohsen Al Knawy, praised his thanks for His Highness Prince Khalid bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, Minister of the National Guard of this patronage of this graduation ceremony. H.E added that this patronage is a real support for the academic, scientific, and research for the university and its students. In addition, His Excellency stressed that H.H is keen to join the graduates in their joy of success and graduation. In addition, H.E praises the efforts of graduates in the academic, scientific achievements and intensive clinical training in King Abdulaziz Medical City, Riyadh, Jeddah, and Al Ahsa. Moreover, H.E said that H.H Prince Khaled Abdulaziz Bin Ayyaf is also keen to join the graduates to their looking forward to serve the kingdom and the community by investing what they acquired of knowledge and skills in enhancing and developing Health System in Saudi Arabia, and benefiting from the clinical environment in developing their performance and achievements. Moreover, H.E added that the University is committed to achieve all of its objectives to graduate outstanding scientific competencies in various health fields to build healthy developments by achieving the Saudi 2030Vision in all parts of our country. Also, to achieve our leadership goals led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, is that all the graduates from our health and medical colleges and other specialized colleges will be responsible of our medical sector in the kingdom because they are the great investment to our country. Furthermore, H.E Dr. Al Knawy praised the efforts of Dr. Ahmed Al Essa, Minster of Education in enhancing the role of educational institutions in the Kingdom and upgrading its outputs inside the kingdom. Also, he mentioned his interest about the scientific and academic activities of this university, which that the university is seeking to be on the highest standards in order to ensure the quality of output and performance in these important and vital fields that directly related to the health and safety of the citizens. As a conclusion, The Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Mohammed Al-Ghaihab, delivered a speech in which he said: "Today the University is proud of its graduates who support its mission and reflects its goals and aspirations after obtaining a scientific qualification and extensive clinical training." Moreover, Al-Ghaihab also pointed out that the number of female graduates and male graduates of this batch was 1311 including 9 female students programs and 3 male students programs, including 600 graduates at the level of bachelor and postgraduate in the university three campuses in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Al Ahsa. The number of male graduates are 429 students in Riyadh campus, 101 students in Jeddah campus, and 70 students in Al Ahsa campus. Al Ghaihab added that the graduates of this university draw the future of our nation with principles and values that serve our religion, leadership and the nation.
